In spite of being in crowd
The solitude has always haunted her
For nostalgic thoughts have often
Crossed her mind every now and then
She weened of her winsome mother
Who had forsaken her at an early age
To arrive at the wondrous heaven
Nevertheless, she tried to suppress the nostalgia
And forced her mind to some other do
But the irony was she never succeeded
To make herself flee from it
She called aloud for her beloved father
Yet, he never appeared to console her daughter
As ‘dad’ had taken a French leave
She now dwelt in the house of girls
But never indulged herself to be one of them
Hordes of girl came and went
To be one of their friends
However, she denied them all
And merely yearned for the parental love
She entreated God from dawn to dusk
Urging him to fulfill the mere wish of her
Over and over she tried her best
To find her ‘dad’ in each
And every nook of the world
Arrival and departure of seasons drew
But not a single sign revealed
She was defeated by the anguish imparted by the time
And accepted her failure as her gloomy fate
Considering herself the most hapless person
Who comprehended her feelings
‘Oh! Olivia you are too extreme’
Were the words she spoke
She reflected upon her words profoundly
Being caught in the perplexing phase
And raised the question to the unknown lass
‘What do want to signify?’
A precise answer with a fragile voice uttered
‘I know everything about you’
And I’m Hannah here to help recover your misery
Olivia herself was not aware of
How the bond of belief was
Tagged to the unknown girl?
Hannah taught her to live
The present and not the past
She had now just commenced
The journey of her life
Begun to laugh at the glad moments
Pleading Olivia to forgive him
For the mistakes he committed
This shattered all her joys
Which she had just mustered
The love for her father had now
Transformed to aversion
As she no longer believed his words
A long term argument had now occurred
And an unfortunate aftermath was disclosed
That both would be anonymous
To each other, till the time of death
